Born and bred
Born & bred in the small coastal town, Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
Travel experience
Zanél was fortunate to visit over 40 countries while sailing around the world before settling back in South Africa. Her experience in traveling her own continent includes a range of countries in Southern Africa (where she considers herself an expert), as well as Morocco. A gorilla trek in Rwanda and Tanzania is next on her bucket list!
Favorite destination in Africa?
Zanél’s favorite destination in Africa is the iconic Sabi Sand Game Reserve. “The game viewing, breathtaking surroundings, sunsets and wildlife were just so surreal,” she recalls. “It’s a place I wish for everyone to visit at least once in their life!”
