Born in Cape Town, and grew up in Texas in the United States.
Travel experience
Elene has traveled extensively in South Africa and would like to visit Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar next. She considers herself an expert on all things Cape Town and the broader Western Cape. “I love telling my friends in America where they should visit in the Western Cape and love telling my friends and family about new restaurants, coffee shops and wine farms in and around Cape Town.”
Favorite destination in Africa?
Elene loves South Africa and the diverse variety of things to do and see in the different areas of the country. “In Cape Town you have the mountains, beaches and wine farms. A short drive takes you up the coast where you get to see flowers, whales and penguins. Then it’s just a short flight and you are in Joburg where you can have a world class safari.”
