Having worked as a travel writer for over six years, which required her to travel extensively in Southern Africa, Julie was fortunate to have first-hand experiences in incredible destinations like Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Tanzania and Zanzibar. She has also ticked Zimbabwe, Angola, Lesotho, Swaziland and Egypt off her Africa travel list.
Favorite destination in Africa?
One destination that was particularly life-changing for Julie was Botswana. “There is something in the air in that country, a wildness that really makes you feel the heartbeat of Africa,” she says. “Whether exploring the wild bushveld, the ever-changing river channels of the Okavango Delta, or the vast desert landscapes, one will be exposed to safari excellence of the most magical quality.”
