The lodge has exclusive traversing rights on 14,700 hectares of wilderness land. This means that families can go on night game drives and also off-road to get closer to the abundance of wildlife. This is the ideal luxury family lodge as it has 3 family cottages which are 2 interlinking cottages and a family suite. The latter has a private full-size swimming pool, the use of a private safari vehicle, dedicated butler, ranger and tracker and great views of the Maponi riverbed.
For kids they can be entertained at the WILDchild programme which offers fun and interactive activities. WILDChild is for children 3-12 years of age and this programme helps to bring the magic of safari. They are provided with a backpack filled with kiddies goodies, there are special children’s menus at mealtime and seasonal activities which can be baking with the chef with yummy kiddies recipes, frog safaris, children-friendly movies and documentaries, safari arts & crafts, bug collecting, walks and bark rubbing.

Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge is situated in the 65-000 hectares Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve in the southwestern region of the wildlife oasis that is the Greater Kruger National Park and 31 miles of unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park. This is an oasis for wildlife and the lodge has a history going back over 4 decades. The beautifully appointed suites are spacious and can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children in the lounge.

Set in the wetlands with awesome views of the panorama, this eco-friendly tented camp has 2 family tents and another 2 tents that can connect via an open deck. There are permanent waterways and it also sits close to the Zibadianja Lagoon. It received an extensive rebuild in 2020 as a premium luxury camp.
They have a family-friendly Bush Buddy programme for any guests of up to 16 years old. Bush Buddies tailor-make each experience depending on the age of the children, with supervision. The staff have been trained in the field of child care and are there to help enhance your client’s family’s Southern Africa family vacation. During the family down time they can relax in the swimming pool and dine in the large communal dining area.
